A&G’s history

-1995. Luigi Agostini and Augusto Gentili start up the company. Business starts as Digidesign Dealer. Michela Quilici joins A&G as Accountant. A&G acquire OSC, Gallery Software, INA GRM and Synchro Arts Italian Distribution.


-1996. A&G becomes the Apogee Electronics' Italian Exclusive Distributor. A&G leaves retailcommerce.


-1997. Andrea Valassina, in charge as Manager, leaves Digidesign Italy and joins A&G as Pro-duct Manager.


-1998. A&G starts Development business joining Rigel Engineering, IRIS, Pisa University and Florence University in the European Community project called E.A.S.Y.


-1999. A&G becomes Authorized RAI Radiotelevisione Italiana supplier.


-2000. A&G presents the first prototype of IMEASYTM at 109th AES Convention in Los Angeles. A&G becomes Digidesign development partner.


-2001. A&G starts to develop TheBat 3D Ultrasound Controller. A&G becomes Propeller Heads development partner.


-2002. A&G starts to distribute IMEASYTM and TheBat worldwide. Luigi Agostini of A&G Soluzioni Digitali presents an international Patent Application, "DEVICE AND METHOD FOR SIMULATION OF THE PRESENCE OF ONE OR MORE SOUND SOURCES IN VIRTUAL POSITIONS IN THREE-DIMENSIONAL ACOUSTIC SPACE". The Italian and European patent application is extended worldwide.


-2003. A&G starts to develop the Spatialisation-X-Series Card for Apogee Electronics Converters and See'n'sound, a software plug-in for Alias Maya, becoming Alias Conductor.


-2004. A&G releases the X-spat boX, a DSP multichannel expansion for Pro Tools and Nuendo workstations. Pixar and Skysound start to use See'n'Sound for Maya. A&G announces the nextrelease of X-Spat Adapter for Richmond Sound Design' AB64. The new hardware adapter providesto X-Spat full compatibility with the Digital Audio slot on the back panel of the famous show con-trol system, offering to AB64 real time 3D control of stereo or mono audio sources and double Firewire 400 in/out ports.


-2005. A&G releases a new version of See'n'Sound for X-spat boX. DigitalDoctor is the first A&G Development Partner. The UK company has just released an amazing software called XSpatFX thatcould be used with their main product, ShowControlPro v.2.1 and A&G X-Spat systems. Riccardo Mazza of Interactive Sound (SoundBuilder creator) and Andrea Valassina of A&G Soluzioni Digitali attend as panelists the LIVE SOUND SYMPOSIUM: SURROUND LIVE III - Totally Surrounded at 119thAES Convention NY on Thursday, October 6. Riccardo also presents a preview of SpaceBuilder, the new software he is developing exclusively for A&G X-spat boX.


-2006. A&G Soluzioni Digitali and Interactive Sound introduce SoundBuilder 1.0. SoundBuilder is a powerful tool designed for building backgrounds, Foleys and soundscapes in surround. Mainly aimed to film, television and multi purpose video soundtrack productions, SoundBuilder may also be used to create your own sound SFX library independently of the video sequence. The software may be launched as standalone application or in “Rewire” mode sync'ed with all those programs that support Rewire technology. The package includes the software and 4 sound libraries on DVD, Naturalistic Environments, Machinery & Industrial, Complex Urban and Image Helper... 13GB of original recordings! The Image Helper Imaging & Video Elements is a sound effect library especially addressed to graphics and commercial video productions. A&G starts to develop See'n'Sound LE, a new version of its most famous software based on Open AL.
